A mammogram is an X-ray image of your breast used to screen for breast cancer. Mammograms play a key role in early breast cancer detection and help decrease breast cancer deaths. During a mammogram, your breasts are compressed between two firm surfaces to spread out the breast tissue. Then an X-ray captures black-and-white images of your breasts that are displayed on a computer screen and examined by a doctor who looks for signs of cancer.
A mammogram can be used either for screening or for diagnostic purposes. How often you should have a mammogram depends on your age and your risk of breast cancer. To get more details please visit our Mammography department
Magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a test that uses powerful magnets, radio waves, and a computer to make detailed pictures inside your body. An MRI helps a doctor diagnose a disease or injury, and it can monitor how well you’re doing with a treatment.
A computed tomography (CT) scan uses X-rays to make detailed pictures of structures inside of the body. It can take pictures of body organs, such as the liver, pancreas, intestines,
Osteoporosis, or thinning bones, can result in painful fractures. Risk factors for osteoporosis include aging, being female, low body weight, low sex hormones or menopause, smoking, and some medications. Prevention and treatment include calcium and vitamin D, exercise, and osteoporosis medications.

Ultrasound involves the use of high-frequency sound waves to create images of organs and systems within the body. An ultrasound machine creates images that allow various organs in the body to be examined. The machine sends out high-frequency sound waves, which reflect off body structures. The transducer has receptors which receive these signals and convert them into digital signals and forms an image on the computer screen.
